JITH 2024
29 - 31 October 2024, Paris, France
20th Edition, ENSA Paris-Val de Seine
Call for Papers
The conference International Days on Thermal Science and Energy, formerly better known as Journées internationales de thermique, celebrates 40 years of existence. The 20th Edition, JITH 2024, is now launched.
The JITH 2024 event addresses four main topics, three of which are constant at each edition, whereas Topic 4 is edition-specific. In 2024, Topic 4 is dedicated to Building and City as major domains of research and application in Thermal and Energy Sciences.
- Topic 1 : Fundamental Developments in Thermal Science
- Topic 2: Renewable Energy
- Topic 3: Energy Efficiency in Industry, Building, Transport and Agriculture
- Topic 4: Eco-Design of Building and City for Climate Resilience (Special Topic)
The climate deregulation originates from human settlements and impacts Humans and Earth. The climate issue in living environments is multiscalar and calls for systemic approaches and the aggregation of responses across all scales and involving all sciences : the global target of low carbon footprint, the local mitigation of the effects of the urban climate, the site climate-sensitive design and operation, efficient energy systems and processes, as well as the development of high-performance materials and technologies up to the nanoscale.
The JITH 2024 strives to foster multidisciplinary presence and debates. Contributions are awaited from all disicplines (Physics, Mechanics, Engineering, Climatology, Architecture, Urbanism, Material Science, etc.) concerned by thermal, energy and more generally ecology issues in view of meeting the climate challenge.
